深刻持久的回憶           趙璟嵐（外孫女 二姊女兒）

    Having lived away from Taiwan since I was eight, my memories with Grandma, although not plentiful, were lasting. Her attentiveness during my teenage years did not go unnoticed. However, briefly, the time was, Grandma would always take a private moment to instill a sense of feminism and confidence as I journeyed into adulthood. A set of gold colored qipao she gifted me, although it no longer fits, still hangs sentimentally in my closet.

    I was impressed by Grandma’s knowledge and street smarts when she managed a fast-food business. Equally admirable is her optimistic outlook on life and ability to take life in stride. I feel like I got to know Grandma better through my own mother. When Mom decided to actively practice Christianity, she stated that Grandma’s character had inspired her to do so. Warm, gentle, optimistic, full of wisdom and strength. Faithful to God and a true matriarch, through health and sickness.

    May you rest in peace. We love you, Grandma!

    自八歲離開台灣後，我與外婆的回憶雖不多，卻深刻而持久。她在我青少年時期的關懷，我一直銘記在心。儘管相處的時間短暫，外婆總會在私下的片刻裡，灌輸我女性意識與自信，陪伴我邁向成年。她送我的那套金色旗袍，雖然現在已不合身，仍懷著深厚情感掛在我的衣櫥裡。

    外婆經營自助餐廳時展現出的知識與生活智慧，令我印象深刻。她對生活的樂觀態度與從容應對的能力，同樣令人敬佩。我覺得自己是透過母親更深入地認識外婆的。當媽媽決定積極實踐基督信仰時，她說是外婆的品格啟發了她。溫暖、溫柔、樂觀，充滿智慧與力量。忠於上帝，是名副其實的大家長，無論健康或病痛皆如此。
